This FAQ is intended to assist administrators and users in resolving common issues and understanding key features.
Product Overview & Specifications
The GSC3574 and the GSC3575 are identical devices in terms of functionalities and technical specifications. The only difference is that the GSC3574 comes in white, and the GSC3575 comes in black.
The GSC3574/3575 can be a central control station for your facility/home access solution; it can also control your lighting and HVAC smart solution. It supports the Android™ operating system, so it supports installing applications for all your smart appliances.
The GSC3574/3575 can also be used to answer the doorbell, providing a clear voice while displaying the video stream from the doorbell of your home/facility/office.
The GSC 3574/3575 control station can be used as your alarm system. It can be connected to sensors that trigger the alarm in case of a breaching attempt. The alarm signal can be sent to the GSC station to stealthily inform the security personnel, or it can sound a loud alarm to draw the attention of the personnel to the breach attempt.
The station can also be used as a panel for meeting rooms in offices. It can be paired with Grandstream IPPBXs to manage meeting rooms.
The GSC3574/3575 station can be powered using either PoE, following IEEE 802.3af Class 3. Or by attaching wires in the correct 2-pin connectors on the back of the unit. The station requires 12VDC/1.5A to be appropriately powered.
The GSC3574/3575 supports Bluetooth 5.0.
Yes, the GSC3574/3575 has built-in dual speakers with support for wide-band audio and media play in stereo.

The GSC3574/75 can be paired with 50 door machines in the Monitoring -> Door system and 2 additional door machines set by Digital Output Setting, totaling 52 door machines. All can be controlled via a desktop door-opening button.
It has 6 alarm input ports and 2 alarm output ports for customized deployments.
Using AI, the GSC3574 can distinguish certain sounds which may trigger an alarm, such as the sound of glass shattering, a gunshot, crying, yelling for help, etc.
It also has voice features, like a voice assistant, and a voice changer (from female voice to male voice), which can be used when answering the doorbell.
Setup & Registration
Both GSC3574 and GSC3575 support 6 SIP accounts.
The GSC3574/3575 can be seamlessly integrated with Grandstream facility access solutions like GDS3725, and can also be integrated with Grandstream IP security cameras like the GSC3610. Integrating the control station with the GDS allows the user to retrieve the video stream from the GDS and to trigger door opening remotely. Alarms can also be sent to the control station from the GDS based on the movement detection sensor in the GDS.
You can connect the GSC3574/3575 to the network using either an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi 6, using either the 2.4GHz band or the 5GHz band.
Yes, it can be connected to the network using PPPoE with authentication.
Yes, the GSC3574/3575 supports OpenVPN. Therefore, it can connect to OpenVPN servers.
GSC3574/3575 supports micro-SD cards with a maximum of 512GB storage capacity.
Calling Features & Line Management
You can emit and receive calls on the control station.
There are two ways to enable DND on the GSC3574/3575.
Method 1:
- On the idle screen, tap on the Settings icon.
- Tap on Do Not Disturb.
- Then, switch the toggle to enable Do Not Disturb.
Method 2:
- Drag your finger downward from the top of the screen to bring down the quick settings menu.
- Tap DND mode to enable it.
Door opening can be triggered using two methods.
Method 1: By establishing a SIP call to the door system, like a GDS. Once the call is established, press the door icon that corresponds to the door that you like to open.
Method 2: While idle, press on the Monitor icon, then press the Door System tab, then tap the icon of the door you wish to open.
Arming mode is a setting that can be configured to trigger a specific action (alarm, door opening, etc) when a signal is received from a specific sensor. E.g., a movement detection sensor, a smoke detector, and a door sensor.
Yes, you can view a log of door openings recorded by the monitored door systems.
Yes, you can install applications directly from the Google Play Store.
GSC3574/3575 supports emitting SOS calls. This can be done through a button that is available right at the home page of the control station. The user can initiate a call by pressing and holding the button until the call prompt appears. This feature supports parallel hunting, which initiates the call to many numbers.
Configuration, Provisioning, & Firmware
The device configuration interface can be accessed by following the steps below:
- Make sure that GSC3574/3575 boots up and is connected to the network using either Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable.
- Tap on the Status icon.
- Find Network Status and tap on it.
- IPv4/IPv6 Address indicates the address assigned to the control station.
The current firmware version of the device can be found on the web UI and LCD menu:
– Web UI: Status > System Info > System Version
– LCD: Status > System Info > System Version.
GSC3574/3575 supports firmware upgrade via the following methods:
- Method 1: Upload the firmware file
Manually upload the firmware file through the device Web UI to perform the upgrade (supported for applicable firmware versions only).
- Method 2: Using a firmware server (HTTP/HTTPS/TFTP)
Configure the device to retrieve and install firmware from a remote server using supported protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, or TFTP.
The firmware server address can be provisioned manually in the Web UI or automatically via DHCP options (for example, Option 66 or Option 160, depending on deployment).
- Method 3: Using GDMS
Upgrade firmware centrally via GDMS (Grandstream Device Management System), enabling remote, batch, and scheduled firmware management.
To save a backup file of the configuration of the GRP260X IP phone, please follow the steps mentioned below.
- Access the webUI and use the administrator’s credentials to log in.
- Navigate to Maintenance > Upgrade and Provisioning
- Click on “Download Device Configuration” to download the configuration file in .txt format. The user also downloads the config file in xml format.
The GSC3574/3575 supports layer 2 QoS features, such as 802.1Q, 802.1p, 802.1e, and layer 3 QoS, like ToS, DiffServ, and MPLS.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
A factory reset could be executed from the web UI or the LCD menu.
– Web UI: Maintenance > Upgrade > Advanced settings > Factory Reset.
– LCD: Settings > Advanced > Factory Reset.
You should make sure that the phone is connected to the network and that it is able to obtain an IP address. Secondly, check if the account is set to active by setting the “Account Active” configuration in the Account page of the web interface to “Yes”. Additionally, check if the login information and the SIP server are correct. If the SIP server is wrong, the phone cannot contact the SIP server for registration. If the login information is wrong, the SIP server will reject the registration request of the phone.
If all of the above are correct, there may be a problem with NAT traversal. If the GXP21xx is on a LAN and needs to register to a SIP server on a public IP, please enable NAT traversal by selecting the NAT traversal method according to your network environment. If you are unsure, it is recommended to select “Auto” to enable the automatic NAT traversal configuration feature.
When this situation occurs, please check if the handset is securely connected. If it is not, please reconnect it. It could also be caused by the following:
- The other party may have pressed the “Mute” key, which will place the call on mute. Please tell the other party to check if Mute is on and unmute the call.
- If your phone is connected to the Internet through a router, this can be caused by the NAT traversal issue. If the GRP260X is on a LAN and needs to register with a SIP server on a public IP, please enable NAT traversal by selecting the NAT traversal method according to your network environment. If you are unsure, it is recommended to select “Auto” to enable the automatic NAT traversal configuration feature.
Network & Security
GSC3574/3575 supports network communication using TLS. For call media traffic, it uses SRTP for encryption.
To protect the confidentiality of your data and prevent unauthorized access to your system, the GSC3574/3575 comes with secure boot, so only the trusted applications and services are executed at the boot of the device. The reliability of the system is reinforced with a dual-image boot up; if the primary image fails to boot, the backup image can be used instead. The configuration user access is also protected using the md5 and md5-sess for authentication.
