GSC357X Power Consumption

This document is a technical bulletin describing power consumption details for GSC357X devices of paging and intercom speakers.

Depending on the model, the GCS357X devices can be powered using power adapter and can be powered using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). Table 2 includes information for when the device is powered through PoE and when the device is powered through the power adapter.

TEST CONDITION TERMINOLOGY

The following test condition terminology was used in table 1.

  1. Idle State
  • The system has completed the boot-up process.
  • The customer configuration was done in the factory and has not been changed.
  • The reaming peripheral port was null.
  • There was no call state established.
  1. Work State
  • The system was setup as described in the Idle State.
  • The system established 2 IP calls via network port. Bluetooth connected to other device.
  • Connect to the speaker and play the song “Ferry” using Bluetooth.
  • Establish an audio call to the speaker, play the song “Ferry”.
  1. Power Not Exceed
  • The system established 6 IP calls via WAN port. Bluetooth connected.
  • Other Peripherals and settings as Work State condition.
  • Built-in speaker test mode.
  • Video call, the relevant settings adjusted to maximum value.
