Product Overview & Core Capabilities

The IPVT10 is an on-premise full-HD video conferencing server designed for enterprises that want a centralized, secure, and locally deployed video conferencing platform. It combines meeting hosting, conferencing management, recording, and collaboration services into a single server solution.

IPVT10 is designed for small to medium-sized enterprises, especially organizations with multiple locations, remote teams, or internal training needs. It is well-suited for businesses that require a centralized, on-premise video conferencing solution.

From a security standpoint, IPVT10 allows organizations to keep meetings, recordings, and user data within their own infrastructure, reducing reliance on public cloud services. It also supports encrypted communications for WebRTC and SIP connections, helping protect audio, video, and signaling data during transmission. This makes IPVT10 a good fit for organizations with data privacy and security requirements.

IPVT10 is an on-premise video conferencing server. All meetings, recordings, management, and data storage are hosted locally within the organization’s infrastructure, providing greater control and security.

IPVT10 integrates multiple services into one platform, including a Video MCU, SIP Registrar, H.323 Gateway, WebRTC Server, Recording/Storage Server, Contacts Manager, NAT Traversal Server, and Enterprise Collaboration Server.

IPVT10 supports up to 300 participants in total and up to 120 video feeds in a single conference session, depending on network configuration and meeting scenarios.

The system supports up to 50 two-party meetings or up to 10 multi-party meetings (with more than three participants) running at the same time.

IPVT10 supports H.264 video up to 1080p resolution, allowing real-time HD video conferencing and screen sharing with smooth performance.

The system supports Opus, G.722, and G.711 a/u, providing wide-band audio mixing with audio sampling up to 48 kHz for high-quality sound.

IPVT10 uses advanced anti-jitter algorithms and dynamic bandwidth adaptation to maintain audio and video quality even with up to 30% packet loss, adjusting bandwidth between 64 Kbps and 6 Mbps as needed.

Participants can join from PCs, Macs, mobile devices, Grandstream GVC series video conferencing systems, GXV video phones, WebRTC browsers, PSTN via SIP trunks, and SIP PBX systems.

Yes. IPVT10 supports live broadcasting to platforms such as Facebook Live and YouTube Live, as well as other streaming platforms using RTMP push.

IPVT10 supports HTTPS and WSS/DTLS-SRTP encryption for WebRTC, and TLS/SRTP encryption for SIP, ensuring secure communication for both signaling and media streams.

Yes. IPVT10 features a scalable architecture that supports multi-server deployments, enabling load balancing and redundancy for larger enterprise environments.


Meeting Capacity, Performance & Recording

A single IPVT10 meeting can support up to 120 simultaneous 1080p H.264 video feeds, depending on the total number of active meetings and overall server load.

A single meeting can host up to 300 participants when participants connect using dual NICs, or up to 200 participants when using a single NIC, due to bandwidth limitations.

As the number of concurrent meetings increases, the maximum number of participants per meeting decreases to maintain performance. For example, with 10 concurrent meetings, each meeting supports up to 120 participants, while 50 concurrent meetings support two-party meetings only.

Yes. A minimum of 5 Mbps upload and download bandwidth per participant is recommended to achieve 1080p video resolution and stable meeting quality.

IPVT10 supports Tile layouts (2×2 up to 7×7) and Focus layouts (1 Primary + up to 7 Secondary videos). Each meeting can support up to three layouts, depending on meeting load.

Yes. IPVT10 includes automated active speaker detection, which dynamically highlights the current speaker to improve meeting clarity and engagement.

IPVT10 supports audio, video, screen sharing, chat, and meeting reports recording, all stored locally on the server. Both local recording and cloud-style centralized recording are supported.

The IPVT10 includes 500 GB of local storage for meeting recordings and reports, with support for remote NFS-mounted storage to extend capacity.

Approximately 500 hours of recording is available for meetings with 1080p video or screen sharing, and up to 10,000 hours for meetings with audio-only or low-frame video.

If the storage is full, the system displays a storage space warning, and users will not be able to start new recordings until storage is freed or extended.

Yes. Each recording file is limited to 1.9 GB. When this size is exceeded, the system automatically creates a new recording file to continue recording without interruption.

Yes. Authorized users can view, download, rename, lock, unlock, or delete recorded meeting files through the management platform or device interface.

Yes. IPVT10 generates meeting reports and statistics, including participant lists and session information, which are accessible through the conference management platform.


Client Types, Access Methods & Compatibility

IPVT10 supports multiple client types, including Grandstream GVC32xx video conferencing systems, WebRTC browser clients, IPVideoTalk mobile applications (Android/iOS), PC/Mac browsers, GXV video phones, and SIP/PSTN call-in users.

An IPVideoTalk ID is a SIP-based account automatically assigned to each GVC32xx device when it registers with the IPVT10 server. It is used to start meetings, join conferences, and place video calls between devices.

When a GVC32xx connects to the IPVT10 server for the first time, it is automatically assigned an IPVideoTalk ID starting from 100, and the account is activated by default.

Yes. Users can activate or deactivate the IPVideoTalk ID directly from the IPVideoTalk application settings on the GVC32xx device. An active account is shown with a green icon, while an inactive account appears greyed out.

WebRTC access is supported on Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, Microsoft Edge, and Safari, provided the browser versions meet the minimum requirements specified in the documentation.

Supported operating systems include Windows, macOS, Linux/Ubuntu, and Chrome OS, depending on the browser used.

No. WebRTC users can join meetings directly from a supported browser without installing applications or plug-ins, except when using Internet Explorer or when screen-sharing extensions are required.

A minimum of 3 Mbps internet connection is recommended for WebRTC users, with broadband or Wi-Fi preferred for stable audio and video performance.

Yes. IPVT10 supports audio call-in via PSTN SIP trunks or SIP-based IP PBXs, enabling users without video clients to join meetings by phone.

Yes. IPVT10 supports third-party SIP-based video conferencing systems and video phones, enabling interoperability beyond Grandstream devices.

Meeting hosting is supported on GVC32xx devices, WebRTC browsers, and the Conference Management Platform. However, mobile WebRTC browsers cannot host meetings.


Meeting Control, Collaboration & Webinar Features

IPVT10 supports Instant Meetings, Scheduled Meetings, and Webinars. Meetings can be started immediately or scheduled in advance, while webinars support structured sessions with hosts, panelists, and participants.

Meeting hosts can mute or unmute participants, disable cameras, remove participants, end meetings, control layouts, start/stop recordings, and manage chat permissions.

Yes. Hosts can force mute, force camera off, or remove participants from the meeting. Participants muted by the host cannot unmute themselves unless permission is granted.

Hosts can configure layouts such as Tile, Focus 1+N, and Speaker mode, and may allow or restrict participants from switching between available layouts.

Yes. IPVT10 supports desktop sharing, application sharing, and presentation sharing through GVC32xx devices and supported WebRTC browsers.

Participants can use group chat, private chat, file and image sharing, Q&A, raise hand, whiteboard, and document sharing, depending on their role and meeting type.

The Raise Hand feature allows participants to signal the host when they need assistance or want to speak. Hosts see raised-hand indicators in the participant list.

IPVT10 supports group chat and private chat during meetings. Hosts can also disable chat entirely to maintain meeting control.

In meetings, all participants generally have similar permissions. In webinars, participants are divided into hosts, panelists, and attendees, with speaking and sharing permissions restricted to hosts and panelists.

Yes. Webinar hosts and panelists can join a practice session up to one hour before the webinar starts to test audio, video, and presentations while attendees remain in the waiting room.

Yes. During a webinar, the host can promote participants to panelists, granting them permissions such as speaking, camera sharing, and presentation control.

Yes. Hosts can enable live streaming to Facebook or YouTube, or other platforms using RTMP, during meetings or webinars.

Yes. Hosts using WebRTC can request GVC32xx participants to share their webcams, and the participant can accept or reject the request on their device.

Management, Administration, Security & System Settings

The Conference Management Platform is a web-based interface used to manage meetings, users, devices, recordings, contacts, and system settings for the IPVT10 server from a centralized location.

Users access the platform by entering the IP address or domain name configured on the IPVT10 server in a web browser. The default login credentials are admin/admin, which can be changed by the administrator.

Yes. Administrators can create multiple user accounts, allowing different users to log in and manage meetings or system functions according to assigned permissions.

The platform allows administrators to schedule meetings, start or cancel meetings, view meeting history, review participant lists, and access meeting statistics and reports.

Recording files can be viewed, downloaded, and managed from the management platform. These include audio, video, screen sharing, chat records, and meeting reports stored on the server.

Yes. Enterprise contacts are centrally managed through the Conference Management Platform and synchronized automatically to GVC32xx devices. Contacts cannot be edited directly on the GVC32xx.

Administrators can view, monitor, and manage all connected conference devices, such as GVC32xx systems, through the management platform.

Devices can be linked to the platform using a MAC address or a six-digit device code. Device code linking does not require authentication confirmation on the device.

IPVT10 secures communications using HTTPS and WSS/DTLS-SRTP for WebRTC, and TLS/SRTP encryption for SIP, ensuring encrypted signaling and media transmission.

Yes. The system provides notices and alerts for events such as firmware upgrades, system maintenance, authentication requests, and service interruptions, which appear directly on GVC32xx devices.

Yes. The IPVT10 solution supports multiple languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and others.

IPVT10 includes dual redundant 550W power supplies, which help ensure system reliability and continuous operation in enterprise environments.

Any unauthorized changes or operations that do not follow the official IPVT10 user guide will void the manufacturer’s warranty, as stated by Grandstream.
