The device configuration interface can be accessed following the steps below:

1. Make sure that GRP260X boots up and is connected to the network.
2. To display the IP address, press and hold the UP button on the keypad.
3. Enter the IP address of the device in the browser.
4. The default administrator username is “admin”, and the password can be found on the label at the bottom of the device.

Choose a Layer 3 switch when your network design requires routing capability within the switching layer, such as routing between different network segments at the switch level. If your network is simple and routing is handled by a router/firewall, a Layer 2 / Layer 2+ switch is often sufficient. Layer 3 becomes more relevant as segmentation and network scale increase.

After the GWN76xx is powered and connected to the network, it creates a default Wi-Fi network:

• Default SSID: GWNxxxxxx, where xxxxxx are the last 6 digits of the AP’s MAC address.
• Default Wi-Fi password: a random, unique password generated for that unit.
• Where to find them: both the default SSID and password are printed on the MAC tag on the AP itself and on the product box label.

Pick up the handset of a phone connected to an FXS port and dial *** to open the IVR. Then dial 02, and the device will announce its current IP address. This applies whether the unit is using DHCP, Static IP, or PPPoE mode.
