Introduction

MIFARE Classic EV1 (NXP) & MIFARE DESFire EV3 are both RFID access cards used with Grandstream GDS37xx door systems.

The illustrations show the card type, packaging, and how to use it with the door unit.

Operation is identical for both models , simply tap the card to the reader area.

Package Content

• RFID Card: The main card with the Grandstream logo (blue gradient design). Used as an access credential for the door system.
• Printed Quick Installation Leaflet: A small folded paper guide, illustrated next to the card. Contains the basic installation instructions.

Using the Card with GDS Door Unit

• Locate the card reader area on the front of the GDS37xx device (above the call button).
• Hold the RFID card flat against the reader area as shown in the drawing.
• Wait for the reader response (an unlocking sound) indicating access is granted.
